Mazda IDS v136 Installation Steps

Follow the steps below to install the software and ensure the device and software work smoothly:

  1. Install the mazdaids- file*
    Download and run the installation program, and follow the prompts to complete the installation.

  2. Wait for the installation to finish and restart your computer
    After the installation is complete, restart your computer to apply all changes.

  3. Install VX Manager and Ford IDS driver
    Download and install VX Manager and the Ford IDS driver to ensure proper installation of the device driver.

  4. Wait for the installation to complete
    Confirm that all drivers are installed before proceeding to the next step.

  5. Connect the VCX device and install idspatch
    Connect the VCX device to your computer and run the idspatch installation program.

  6. Use idspatch to open IDS and start diagnostics
    Launch the IDS software and begin diagnosing and repairing your vehicle.

Notes

  • Ford and Mazda IDS cannot be installed on the same system. They must be installed on separate systems!
  • Disable antivirus software during installation to avoid potential false positives.
