Diagnostic Driver Management

Driver Installation Requirements The VCX device adapts the OEM diagnostic software through the diagnostic driver. Once the driver is installed, the VCX can be recognized by the software and perform OEM diagnostic functions.

I. Prerequisites for Installing Diagnostic Drivers:

 

  1. The OEM diagnostic software must be installed.
  2. The VCX device must have a valid functional authorization.
  3. The VCX device must be connected to the computer and have internet access. (How to connect devices?)

Note: The OEM diagnostic software is owned by its respective owners. We do not provide OEM diagnostic software. Please purchase an authorized version of the software!

The following steps will demonstrate using JLR SDD as an example:

II. Viewing Available Diagnostic Drivers

 

Start the VX Manager device management software, open the "Vehicle Diagnosis" tab, and then click the "My Applications" option on the left side of the page. This will display the authorized and available diagnostic drivers.

III. Installing Diagnostic Drivers

 

  1. Start VX Manager Software
    Click the [Vehicle Diagnosis] tab in the VX Manager software, then click the [My Applications] option on the left side of the page.

    VX Manager can manage multiple original diagnosis functions.
  2. Click [JLR SDD]
    To use the OEM vehicle diagnostic functions, you need to purchase and install the corresponding OEM driver. If you have purchased the JLR authorization, after updating the authorization, the JLR SDD driver will appear in [My Applications] under the [Vehicle Diagnosis] tab. Click "JLR SDD" to bring up the driver installation interface.

  3. Click [Install]
    VX Manager will fetch and install the latest JLR SDD driver from the server. After installation, you can start using the JLR SDD diagnostic functions. The installation interface is as follows:

IV. Updating Diagnostic Drivers(For example Update JLR SDD)

 

Note: With the continuous updates of the OEM software, the diagnostic drivers are regularly optimized. Please always keep them up to date!

 

  1. Start VX Manager Software
    Click the [Vehicle Diagnosis] tab in the VX Manager software, then click the [My Applications] option on the left side of the page. Here you can see the authorized drivers.

  2. Click "JLR SDD"

    Click "JLR SDD"
  3. Click [Update]
    VX Manager will fetch and install the latest JLR SDD driver from the server. After installation, you can start using the JLR SDD diagnostic functions. The installation interface is as follows:

V. Uninstalling Diagnostic Drivers

 

Note: After uninstalling the VCX diagnostic driver, the OEM software will revert to its original state (usable with OEM devices).

 

Steps: Open the [Vehicle Diagnosis] -> [My Applications] page, click on the diagnostic application you want to uninstall, and the driver information interface will pop up. Click [Uninstall] to start uninstalling the driver.
