Problem Description:
Attempting to correct the odometer on a Land Rover L319 using VXDIAG VCX SE JLR and SDD v163 software. SDD requests a seed code and password. The seed code and password were calculated using the CCF Editor tool, but it still doesn’t work. Is there a solution?
Solution:
Note: SDD installed via download link is an offline version.
-
Ensure you are using the online version of SDD. For odometer correction on Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles, you must use the SDD online version with a subscription.
-
Check if your SDD software is up to date. The latest version is V165, which has been successfully tested and is compatible with VXDIAG scanners. If your version is outdated, update to the latest version.
-
If you're using the offline version of SDD, you may need to download and install the latest online version.
-
Ensure you are using the correct seed code and password. You can use the JLRSDDKEY online calculator to generate the correct password (access code) based on the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and seed (SEED).
