The customer purchased the VXDIAG Nano for Toyota device, installed Techstream 18.00.008 software, and downloaded the patch. After copying and running the patch as per the installation steps, the system still shows "License Expired!" and asks for some new passwords.

Solution:

  1. "License Expired!"
    The reason is that the Toyota license has expired and needs to be updated. Here are the update steps:

    • Update the license and reactivate it.
    • Follow the update instructions provided on the official VXDIAG website:
      https://vxdiag.com/pages/firmware-update

  2. Request for New Password
    The solution is to launch the software directly from the patch. This will bypass the password input step and allow you to proceed with diagnostics.
