We have contacted you via email—please check your inbox. You have not yet installed the Xentry diagnostic software. What you currently have installed is VX Manager, which is our device driver management software, not the diagnostic software itself. Please refer to the attached user manual:

Once you have installed the Xentry software, you can install the BENZ driver in VX Manager and then open the Xentry software to perform diagnostics.

You have to turn off antivirus software, but I actually never saw any harm to my computer. Its probably just a false alarm because of the patch. The device itself is very stable and reads codes accurately.
Its perfect for DIY car owners. Using it to check trouble codes is super convenient, and you can use it offline with the free software.
Using the VXDIAG scanner feels really professional. It supports lots of car models and has full features. Its way cheaper than official factory tools, so the value is great.
