Once I installed the GM drivers it worked great with the Techline connect.

I suggest that you read any and all of the instructions given to you. Once you do that, it works every time flawlessly. I had some issues because I missed some key information and misconfigured. But once it works, it works and works extremely well. I was over ELM327 and any other scanners. All the functions I needed were only capable with this device. I have wasted so much time and money when this device would have saved me all of that. I recommend it.
