1. Question: Hi, can you confirm if the VCX Nano supports the new generation Mazda models? I am planning to use it for my Mazda. Any additional information would be appreciated. Thanks!
Answer: Hello, the VCX Nano supports new generation Mazda models, but you'll need to use MDARS software, which you'll need to acquire separately.
2. Question: When using the VCX Nano device, if WiFi communication is set, the USB port communication is disabled and Windows no longer detects the device via USB. How can I switch communication from WiFi back to USB?
Answer: Hello, USB connection doesn't require any special settings. Simply connect the device to your PC via USB cable and set the connection mode in VX Manager to “AUTO”.
3. Question: Even after updating the MAZDA IDS software, it still doesn’t connect to the vehicle. What could be the issue?
Answer: Please email us your order information and detailed photos of the issue so we can further investigate.
4. Question: Hi, I have a 2013 Mazda 3 and recently installed an EPS (power steering module) from another vehicle. Can I use the VCX Nano to reprogram the EPS module? If not, what is meant by "Online Account" in other questions?
Answer: Reprogramming functions require an original online IDS account, which you will need to obtain separately.
5. Question: Hello, does your VCX Nano support genuine IDS/FDRS?
Answer: Yes, the VCX Nano is compatible with both genuine IDS and FDRS.
6. Question: Hi, I downloaded the links you provided but the installation is asking for a license number that I can't find. What should I do?
Answer: 1. Before downloading, please disable your antivirus and Windows Defender. 2. For the IDS license issue, connect the device and run the IDS software via the provided patch, without needing activation. 3. Make sure IDS software is installed before the VX Manager drivers. Follow these installation steps: a. Install Ford IDS-*** b. Restart your computer after installation c. Install Ford Original VCI Software_1.0.0.10.exe d. Install VX Manager and Ford IDS drivers e. Connect the VCX device and install the IDSpatch f. Use IDSpatch to open IDS and start diagnostics.
7. Question: I purchased a 15-day IDS license. How do I get a Ford IDS license?
Answer: Our license provides authorization for the VXDIAG device to support Ford vehicles, but it does not grant Ford IDS online access. Please keep this in mind.
8. Question: Hi, how do I update the device?
Answer: For firmware updates, connect the device to your computer, open VX Manager, and click on firmware to update directly. For software updates, we will provide new download links.
9. Question: Hi, can I reprogram the BCM module for a 2010 Mazda 3 without an online account? I am replacing it with a used module from another vehicle and need to program the new VIN.
Answer: Hello, reprogramming functions require an online account.
The most significant improvement after purchasing this device was the successful TCU update.
For me, the most significant improvement after purchasing this device was the successful TCU update. This update essentially addresses the transmission solenoid issue covered under the SSP-D recall - which, unfortunately, Mazda has not implemented in Canada.
Additionally, the BCM and VCM updates resolved a radar cruise braking issue that would trigger when trucks were detected in adjacent lanes. The BCM update also changed the behavior of the remote trunk release button, requiring it to be held down for a longer period to activate.
I didn’t notice any other major changes after the updates.
Personally, I perform mid-interval oil changes and basic maintenance myself every year, so I only need to purchase a 3-day subscription annually to make sure all modules are kept up to date.

Programming was successful! ABS light is off, and everything runs fine.
I used the VXDIAG VCX NANO to program the ABS module on a 2009 Ford Focus, and it worked well.
I swapped the ABS ECU and needed to reprogram it. This requires FJDS or IDS software, which you can get from a dealer or Ford's website. I bought the VXDIAG VCX NANO, downloaded FJDS from MotorcraftService, and installed VX Manager to get it recognized. Big thanks to VXDIAG support for the user manual-it helped a lot!
The VXDIAG VCX NANO works, but the cracked IDS won't do online programming. If you need that, buy an FJDS license.
I tested it on a 2019 Ford F-150 and a 2009 Ford Focus ABS module. After installing the module, I followed the IDS steps:
Start a new session, confirm VIN
Go to Module Programming /ABS
Turn ignition on/off as prompted
Install new module
Get As-built data from MotorcraftService
Enter VIN, find ABS data, and input it into IDS
Finish programming and clear ABS codes
Programming was successful! ABS light is off, and everything runs fine. Great tool for the price!

With both, you can quickly get started with the diagnostics.
There are countless software installation tutorials on YouTube, and the customer provided the software link. With both, you can quickly get started with the diagnostics.
Im happy with my product. I purchased the DIAG VCX-NANO for (Nissan) specifically for my 2016 Infiniti QX80. I was able to run an idle volume relearn procedure executed very smoothly and now it idles exactly where it should be. Also replaced ride height sensor and the air compressor myself. Without the VCX nano and consult 3+ I would not have been able to run and execute the procedures to clear, adjust, and set standardride height with a little common sense a little guidance and it’s nice to have and if you have the money, buy a cheap refurbished laptop, dedicated to consult 3 plus
As a repair shop owner, I‘ve always been super picky when it comes to diagnostic tools. I’ve used Autel and Launch T420 before, but the VXDIAG VCX SE DoIP really blew me away! This thing supports an insane number of vehicle brands : Benz, BMW, GM, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Subaru, VW, Volvo, JLR (both SDD and DoIP), Porsche, Mazda, Nissan, Renault, PSA - basically every car we regularly see in the shop.
I bought the VXDIAG VCX SE BENZ and it's been rock solid! Especially with Xentry/DAS, it diagnoses Benz models from 2005 all the way to 2025 with ease. It handles DoIP on W222 and W223 perfectly. I used to struggle with SD C4 failing to connect to newer models, but VXDIAG nailed it.
customer support sent detailed install guides and software links.

Unbeatable Value
Compared to tools like the Autel Maxiflash at $1500, VXDIAG offers insane value. You get near-OEM level capability for a fraction of the price. Yes, you do need to install the right diagnostic software separately, but at this price point, it’s more than worth it.

It supports CAN FD and DoIP protocols really well, and I‘m looking forward to seeing more brand expansions in the future.
