Using VXDIAG VCX SE with Renault ADT Software
Renault Group has launched the Alliance Diagnosis Tool (ADT) to its dealer network worldwide. ADT is the next generation of vehicle diagnosis and repair tool for car models introduced after 2020.
VXDIAG VCX NANO does not work via DoIP and cannot be used as passthru with the Alliance diagnostic tool RENAULT program.
VXDIAG VCX SE does work via DoIP, but some users have tested it and found they cannot use the physical token for ADT.
Therefore, for newer Renaults with SGW security gateway, it's better to use the original VCI or Autel/Launch X431 scanners (still need to bypass the gateway).
