K-Line Models Alert: VIN Reading 1999 BMW model

Problem:

I got the VXDIAG VCX SE for BMW scanner working with ISTA+ 4.35.20. It failed to read the VIN, and manual input also failed. There was no communication with a 1999 BMW model.

Solution:

The VXDIAG VCX BMW cannot handle such old vehicles, especially K-line models. It works better on BMW models from 2005 onwards, similar to other brands.
