VXDIAG VCX SE for BMW Diagnostic Scanner Special Features:
The upgraded VXDIAG for BMW vehicles with OBD access is equipped with a significantly more powerful processor and increased storage capacity. Its robust aluminum casing helps prevent damage when used in harsh environments.
For older BMW models with a diagnostic socket, the VXDIAG is also equipped with an approximately 20 cm long cable, which facilitates the connection of the device and makes storage in the engine compartment easier.
The software allows for reading live data streams, testing actuation, monitoring, using test utilities, reprogramming, diagnosing trouble codes, and more.
Advanced Features:
- WINKFP (for E series: programming, upgrade, and downgrade)
- Tool32 (enter key, import codes, delete certification, advanced functions for BMW series)
- INPA (read vehicle information, diagnosis, read and clear trouble codes)
- BMW Coding (for E series: import data, change codes or enable hidden functions)
- KSD2 (provides complete vehicle repair information for diagnosis or programming)
- NCS-Expert Tool (for E series: set codes, enable hidden functions, and modify settings)
If you have the BMW Software Engineer Edition, you’ll gain access to the fast and user-friendly diagnostic, programming, and coding system used by German BMW engineers. This system is available in both English and German versions, offering practicality and powerful functionality that enables all professional features available in the original factory system. For imported vehicles (such as those from Europe, the United States, and Africa), you can also change the language to Chinese through the OBD port.
Important Note: We do not provide the software. You will need to obtain the software yourself. The VXDIAG BMW cannot support ISTA 4.49 yet, but an update will be available in the future.
Main functions include:
- Diagnosis, programming (including programming individual modules), coding, enabling hidden functions, activating new features, and updating the module system.
The following functions can be activated based on the existing configuration model:
- Use the button inside the cabin to close the trunk (electric tailgate) and stop the reverse operation at any time (for vehicles equipped with an electric tailgate).
- Activate Bluetooth phone function to automatically play music from the phone when the car starts (for models with a USB port in the armrest box or near the gear shift).
- Support audio and video playback via USB cable and iPod.
- Connect the phone via Wi-Fi (phone must install specific software).
- Open voice recognition (currently available only for English digital phone dialing).
- Operate the navigation menu while driving and watch DVDs (even if the original car has only a CD player, you can still watch DVDs).
- Activate internet applications (available for models after 2012.09 with professional navigation, though some models may not support this for unclear reasons).
- Immediately fold the rearview mirrors with the remote control (for original cars, the lock button must be held for 1.5 seconds).
- Activate the gearbox program for sports cars for quicker acceleration response (note: this may generate fault codes in ECU tests at 4S service centers; NOT recommended).
- Prevent rear-end collisions as brake lights flash quickly during severe braking (for 3 Series, 5 Series, in testing).
- Use mobile phone data to surf the internet on iDrive via Bluetooth (not yet tested).
- Adjust the lane change warning speed (available for high-end vehicles with a rearview mirror blind spot warning light) (not yet tested).
