In the end, I was able to reset the locked safety code, but only because I'm computer savvy. Someone less comfortable with technology would never have managed it. The instructions, if you can call them that, are confusing at best and inconsistent depending on where you look.
I ended up abandoning them entirely and using AI to get the installation working correctly. It took over three weeks, partly because of limited time to keep fighting with the install, and partly because I had to completely disable my antivirus and firewall just to get it to run. Now I'm afraid to use my laptop, because the software only works with my security disabled. The moment I turn protection back on, Tech2Win breaks, and I'm stuck reinstalling and fixing it all over again.
I tried creating rules to have my security software ignore Tech2Win and its associated files, but it still flags them as a threat regardless.
Please build a better software package, one that follows standard installation procedures and includes well-documented help files. Have human translators with strong writing skills handle the documentation, because right now it reads like it was thrown together with free software that has no real layout tools.
