When I needed the software, I just contacted support - they replied quickly with everything I needed. I definitely made the right choice.

You'll find that this device can read your trouble codes for free-but that's just the tip of the iceberg. I would never recommend taking your car to a dealership because they're charging around -100 per hour (if not more) these days.
Instead of wasting time, call around to some independent shops, compare prices, and check their credentials online. Also, make sure they're doing the right diagnostic tests. Personally, I'd rather invest in a VXDIAG.
I once had a mechanic check my car and he found an oxygen sensor fault. So, I replaced the sensor (about $50) but guess what? The problem wasn't fixed. The customer still had to pay for an unnecessary part and the labor for a misdiagnosed issue!
From past experience, I knew that just because the trouble code mentioned the O2 sensor, that didn't necessarily mean it was the real problem. So, I tested the sensor myself-no issues at all. I started suspecting the real culprit was the mass air flow sensor. Tested it, and sure enough, it was faulty. Replaced the part, took the car for a test drive, and boom-problem solved!

I couldn't find the engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) on my 2014 Nissan, and the temp gauge was all over the place. Kept getting P0117 and P0119 codes. Hooked up my VXDIAG SE, and sure enough ,the sensor was bad! Swapped it out, and everything's back to normal.

My 2011 Nissan Leaf had a coolant-related trouble code, but the LeafSpy app on my phone couldn't clear it. I needed a more advanced diagnostic tool. The official Nissan Consult III software was an option, but at $2,000, it was just way too expensive. Another option was the VXDIAG device.
I have a dedicated computer for diagnosing CNC machines, motorcycles, OBD1, and OBD2 vehicles. After setting everything up, VXDIAG actually provided deep-level diagnostics for my car. My Leaf's coolant issue got fixed, and the trouble code was successfully cleared.

Bought this to maintain a Nissan Qashqai and Nissan Leaf - Wow! Amazing functionality and was able to clear an engine MIL light that other tools in my arsenal could not or would not clear.
