It is recommended to install only the Passthru driver when connecting the VXDIAG VCX Nano GM with Techline Connect SPS2. For GDS2 and Tech2Win, it is suggested to install them on a separate laptop.
Installing VXDIAG GDS2, Tech2Win, and Techline Connect on a Single Computer
One of our customers has discovered a method to use both Techline Connect and free-to-use software on the same machine. Below are the steps they shared:

Update Firmware and Install License: First, update the firmware of the VXDIAG VCX Nano GM in VX Manager, and click to install the license. You will also need to install the cracked version of Tech2Win in order to load Passthru, GDS2/T2W, and SGM RDS applications in VX Manager.

Loading TDS Software: If you intend to run only TDS software, simply load the above applications as needed.

Installing TDS SPS Software: When installing TDS SPS software, it will overwrite the cracked GM MDI software in Windows. Upon first use of SPS, you will be prompted to install drivers for Tech2Win, MDI, and J2534. Download and install these drivers as required.
These steps should prepare everything necessary for running TDS SPS software, including the required drivers. VX Manager’s Passthru will be ready for SPS, and the SGM RDS drivers will provide the necessary support for the laptop.

Removing Cracked Software: Before installing TDS software, it is recommended to uninstall the cracked GM MDI software through Windows Programs and Features.

Switching Between TDS and Cracked Software: After completing the TDS tasks, if you want to return to using cracked programs, you will need to uninstall all the GM software that was overwritten by TDS. Then, reinstall the cracked versions.
Specifically, you should uninstall:
- GM MDI software
- Tech2Win
Reinstall the cracked version of Tech2Win (which will also install its cracked version of GM MDI software). Check VX Manager, and then remove and reinstall the Passthru, GDS2/T2W, and SGM RDS applications in VX Manager.

Handling Cracked GDS2: If you have the cracked version of GDS2 installed, uninstall it along with Java in Windows Programs and Features, and then reinstall the cracked GDS2 version.
These steps ensure that the cracked software works with the VCX Nano, allowing you to avoid paying for TDS since it operates in a legal grey area under the VX licenses. However, once TDS software is installed, it will revert the cracked software to its normal version, which requires a paid subscription to continue using it.
While this method is somewhat cumbersome, it is the cheapest way to use both TDS and free software on the same machine.
Alternative Option:
If you want to avoid constantly switching between versions, you could dedicate one machine to running the cracked software, while another machine, used daily, has only the necessary TDS software installed.
Important Notes on TDS:
Although the TDS subscription is for 24 months, it does not actually cover unlimited use. Instead, each module on the car can only be flashed once within those 24 months. For example, if you need to replace a faulty BCM module and attempt to flash a second faulty BCM module with TDS, you will likely need to purchase a new subscription to reflash the replacement BCM under the same VIN. In some cases, if you contact TDS within a day or two of the first flash, they might reset your account, allowing you to reflash another replacement BCM. However, if the second reflash occurs months later, you would need to pay another $45 for the same VIN.
For vehicles manufactured in 2008 or earlier, we recommend using the TIS2000 software, as it allows unlimited module flashing and can be used for multiple VINs.
