How to Solve the Issue of Renault Diagnostic Device Not Being Recognized and Prompting a Missing Client Certificate?

I purchased a diagnostic device from vxdiag.com to check and maintain my vehicle. However, when I connected the device to my computer, I ran into a problem: the device was not recognized and couldn’t connect properly. It prompted that I had not provided a client certificate or that the certificate was invalid.

After some investigation, I discovered that the issue was related to the driver. I needed to install RENAULT VCI Driver 1.8.9.0708.exe, but the device didn’t come with a CD for driver installation, which it should have.

I contacted VXDIAG customer support, and they informed me that I needed to download the VX MANAGER client to solve the issue. In the software, I found the option to install the Renault device driver.

Problem solved! In the end, everything worked out smoothly!
