Problem:
Unable to install VX Manager for VXDIAG VCX SE on Windows 10. The installation fails with Error Code 126 every time. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn’t resolve the problem.
Any solutions?
Solution:
After a TeamViewer diagnostic, www.vxdiag.com official engineer discovered that the issue was caused by the Windows 10 Home edition, which lacks the necessary permissions to run VX Manager. To resolve this, please use a laptop with Windows 10 Pro (Professional Edition) instead.
Better buy from another retail website where one can get the products even cheaper with better return policies and most of all much better support. On the VXDIAG website there is no custumer support at all on how to use it. They do not provide any software-link and leave there customers completely alone. If one wants to return an item they charge 15% restocking fee. Pathetic customer service even though they reply quickly.

Easy to use and good support to install all requiredtools
This tool works very well and has many years and models available. I used the support and the technician was very helpful and kindly. I really recommend this tool to everyone that needs it to solve every car problem. Thanks so much for the team and particularly to Shiny!
I had a few problems with software at first, but this is not unusual with any software; there are so many variations in peoples computer hardware and software set-ups that can affect a programme.
The VXDIAG tech support team found the cause though. They are very polite and professional. Email assistance cured my Windows 10 installation for GDS2 and for my Windows 7 installation (for Tech2Win), they offered me remote assistance and they found the cause very quickly.
I have now tested my VCX-FD on my 2007 GMC vehicle and the Tech2Win software now works flawlessly with this J2534 device.
It's well worth getting through a few minor software issues to get a J2534 device that does everything that a much more expensive tool can do and will keep working with newer cars in the future.
I will be trying online SPS programming in the near future, using an ACDelco TDS subscription, and it's good to know that the VCX-FD specifications show that the VCX-FD is more powerful than most comparative tools and will easily allow programming modules much faster than the old Tech2 and many others.
Out of all the sellers Ive worked with, this one left a really friendly impression, and working with them has been a pleasure. The product quality is excellent.
