How to program Toyota key fob DIY Newest

If you need to add a spare smart key to a Toyota Raize 2020, this guide will help you complete the process using VXDIAG Nano for Toyota and Techstream. This method applies to 4A HitagAES smart keys and ensures a successful programming experience.

Step 1: Checking the Key Status

The new key may show the status “already locked”, similar to ID47 Hitag3 keys used in Toyota Tank and other cars with the same platform. This status does not affect programming, so you can proceed as normal.

Step 2: Connecting to the Vehicle

Connect the VXDIAG VCX Nano Toyota or Mangoose JLR cable to the OBD2 port of the Toyota Raize.
Open TechStream 18 on your laptop.
Select Toyota Raize 2019-2021 from the model list.

If you do not see relevant options under Body, Immo, or Entry & Start functions, proceed to the next step.
