VXDIAG Official Site: How to Fix VIDA 2014D Not Detecting the DICE Device

Some users may encounter a common issue when using VIDA 2014D diagnostic software with the VXDIAG DICE interface—the communication tool does not appear in the Vehicle Profile tab.

If you’re facing this problem, the solution is actually quite simple: you must use Internet Explorer Mode in Microsoft Edge, or install the IEability extension.

Steps to Follow:

1. Open Microsoft Edge browser;

2. Go to Settings > Default Browser;

3. Enable “Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode”;

4. Add the VIDA login URL to the IE mode pages list;

5. Reopen the VIDA page and log in again;

6. The communication tool should now be detected properly!

This solution is also useful for many older diagnostic tools and OEM software platforms that still rely on the Internet Explorer environment.
