- Install Ford original VCI software_1.0.0.10.exe.
- Install IDS driver via VX Manager’s "Diagnostic" menu.
- Connect the VCX device and install the patch.
- Use the patch to open the software and start diagnosis.

I used the VXDIAG VCX NANO to program the ABS module on a 2009 Ford Focus, and it worked well.
I swapped the ABS ECU and needed to reprogram it. This requires FJDS or IDS software, which you can get from a dealer or Ford's website. I bought the VXDIAG VCX NANO, downloaded FJDS from MotorcraftService, and installed VX Manager to get it recognized. Big thanks to VXDIAG support for the user manual-it helped a lot!
The VXDIAG VCX NANO works, but the cracked IDS won't do online programming. If you need that, buy an FJDS license.
I tested it on a 2019 Ford F-150 and a 2009 Ford Focus ABS module. After installing the module, I followed the IDS steps:
Start a new session, confirm VIN
Go to Module Programming /ABS
Turn ignition on/off as prompted
Install new module
Get As-built data from MotorcraftService
Enter VIN, find ABS data, and input it into IDS
Finish programming and clear ABS codes
Programming was successful! ABS light is off, and everything runs fine. Great tool for the price!
Hello,
my VCX nano went unexpectedly off today during ecu reading. It was connected wireless to my diagnose IDS laptop. VCX_WiFi is dead and even USB connection is not recognized anymore on VX Manager software . Blue led stays off, only red led is working. When connected to laptop via USB cable it still shows up on window device manager as COM5 FDTI device. Is there a way to do a factory reset ? How can i fix it ?

I have the VCXNano installed and Forscan (free) installed. I hooked up to Powerboost and was able to access truck. Interestingly, for modules that included the VIN, all modules showed my VIN

I have purchased VCX Nano WiFi version ( Ford Mazda ) from your shop and it has been working fine until last week. Problems started with the new version of VX Manager 1.8.9.
The problem is that, without an active internet connection, VX Manager can not find the device. Starting IDS( with Patch ), gives the same error, "No device" ! No problem with an active internet connection.
This way i cannot use my device outside my house, and this is a big problem.
Can anyone from technical service be of help ?

For the problem, you need to update your device firmware to newest version with vx manager v1.8.9. Firmware version is v1.9.2 usually.(https://vxdiag.com/pages/firmware-update)
After update finish, you can disconnect internet connection, connect device to laptop, open vx manager to check if it can find the device.
If still cannot. Need to disconnect all connections of the device and reconnect it after three minutes.
