Connection Methods
The VCX SE supports two communication methods with a laptop: USB, WiFi, USB Type C, and DoNET optional connection
Steps:
- Insert the VCX SE into the vehicle's DLC and turn on the car ignition to power the device.
- Ensure the laptop is sufficiently charged or connected to a power adapter.
- WiFi Connection: Pair the laptop with the VCX SE via WiFi to establish a communication link (select DoIP VCI in the available network list, the password is 12345678).
- USB Connection: Connect the laptop and the VCX SE using the USB cable.
- Download and install VX Manager on the laptop to check the connection.
- Update firmware, DoIP, and license, download drivers, and open the software to start diagnostics.

- From version 137 onwards, the SDD software can not perform offline programming. Alternative methods like CCF and Seed code are required.
- JLR Topix Cloud banned all 3rd party devices. So vxdiag for jlr device is not working with Topix Cloud anymore.
Please note: The diagnostic software Pathfinder is specifically designed for the aforementioned car models. It is the only tool that has been thoroughly tested with the VCX DoIP for both ECU diagnostics and CCF functionality.
