U kunt hiermee in- en uitvoergegevens bekijken van de systeemregelmodules die foutdiagnose uitvoeren, opgeslagen diagnostische codes en andere gegevens. Deze menuoptie wordt ook gebruikt nadat de reparatie is voltooid om diagnostische codes te verwijderen, instellingen van de regelmodule te configureren, enz.

  3. Weergave van opgeslagen gegevens:
    Met deze optie kunt u verschillende gegevens opslaan die zijn verzameld tijdens het diagnosticeren van storingen. U kunt de gegevens vervolgens laden en bekijken nadat de werkzaamheden zijn voltooid.

  4. Startonderbreker:

I rebuild salvage cars, and SSM is the only tool I've found that talks to the airbag system. That's huge when you're Frankensteining a car together from two or three others and the airbag light won't shut off. Sure, you can spend $3,000 on a legit SSM3 and another $2,000 a year on software and not deal with install headaches-but if all you really need is to check codes and maybe look at some live data now and then, a clone like this is more than enough.

I've got a VXDIAG Subaru VCX and so far it's been working great.

I've got a VXDIAG Subaru VCX and so far it's been working great. I'm planning to get a dedicated laptop just for it. It connects to all the vehicle's control modules without any issues, though you do need an internet connection to verify the VXDIAG license. I was able to successfully change some settings in the Body Integrated Unit (BIU) using it. It pulls fault codes from all modules and even gives brief descriptions. On top of that, it's packed with a ton of other features since it works with the official Subaru SSM software. For example, you can adjust the instrument cluster, re-center the steering angle for the VDC system, read and clear crash data records, and re-calibrate HID headlight leveling all using the same tool.

I saw someone recommend VXDIAG online, so I gave it a try for my 2014 Subaru Outback. After installing SSM4, it can read the engine, transmission, four - wheel - drive system, and even the battery voltage.

I've got a VXDIAG Subaru SSM3 and it's been super useful-it can talk to every system in the car, including the immobilizer. It basically mimics the original SSM3 but runs on cracked SSM software and uses VXDIAG's custom driver (which is why setting it up is kind of a pain).
Quick heads-up: if you want to program keys or smart fobs, you'll need the immobilizer code. It's tied to your car's VIN and doesn't change. Once you have that code, you're good to go. In most cases, if you're a regular customer at a dealership, they'll probably give it to you-though they might charge a few bucks since Subaru charges them for it too.
